Yes. Soooo much sacrifice and self denial going on there.
It is impossible for men by an exercise of will to deny themselves, to die daily to themselves and live for the sake of others for love.
Gandhi did it. He wasn't Christian. I don't dismiss what you're saying, but what most of us take issue with, is that you assume one can only accomplish these things through 'a relationship with Jesus.' That's not true, whatsoever.
