Was the star of Bethlehem real? Think about it for a minute! The closest stars are many TRILLIONS of miles away. How could a star THAT FAR AWAY be seen as hanging over one particular city? It's impossibly ridiculous! Can any star in the sky be said to hang over one particular city? NO! The only way a star could hang over a particular location is if it were only a few thousand feet in the air! In which case, it could not possibly be a star! Because if it were, the radiation and heat from the thing would kill everyone for many miles. That's even assuming a star would hover over the ground and not crash into the Earth, but why bring common sense into the discussion....
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
