I have daughters, and although I don't want them to suffer the pain of the consequences from jumping into sex before they are ready, I counsel them to realize the the change in dynamics the introduction of sex has in a boy girl relationship. As for the other risks, std's, pregnancy, and the like, I try to train them on the good science of germ theory and disease and I am willing to supply them with contraceptives.

I don't own my daughter, she is simply a creation of 50% of my DNA that I love and care for.
