Question for Muslims

I went to a predominantly Muslim secondary school and almost converted at one point, not because I believed in Islam or even liked it, it was mainly because I wanted to join their club and didn't want to be different. They generally didn't socialise with non-muslims, some did and one of my best friends was a muslim (I still see him occasionally, he's now married to a non-muslim, drinks alcohol and doesn't go to the mosque), and they used to play cricket at dinner time and I liked playing cricket lol.

And while we're on about very few Muslims are honest about the quran it's kind of interesting that you've changed your story from no Muslims enter hell to a few enter hell.

I never said Muslims cannot go to hell earlier, I only referenced the ayah you spoke of. Also I am not a Muslim

And it's amazing how many of them cannot understand Arabic whenever something embarrassing crops up. it's never the good parts they dont understand, just the bad parts... I doubt anyone has ever mistranslated "there is no compulsion in religion" for instance.

Actually the part that says "there is no compulsion in religion" is not mistranslated although it is taken out of context. What it means by that is that Islam is so obviously correct that people who are kuffar are just rejecting the "truth".


What it means is that there is no conpulsion in "The Religion" or "la-Dini". The alif is always left out or it will specify only 1 specific religion. When you can read Arabic it makes things a lot more easier

I will never pose myself as the person who has the correct religion. I cannot even claim myself as a true Muslim. I always pray to Allah that I get as much knowledge as possible and ask forgiveness for any wrong deed I committed or for anything wrong I said to someone.

I pray to Allah daily, I worship Allah daily and me and you are not very different in some regards. I have a theology that is of the previous model.

I worship Him as He had said to me Not because I want to go to Heaven. Junnah might be too good for me.

No human being is fit for paradise and I personally believe I am not only fit for hell but will be there.

Divine Love is amazingly beautiful. I want to remember Him till self is forgotten. Junnah and Dozakh is not what I want but to be closer to Him is my desire.Not that I think that you are the true follower of Islam , but as I said before Never follow any Muslim for the sake of studying Islam.

I could not agree more. Personally I was not very fond of the afterlife in Islam, it was just weird. It was very carnal and sexualized and being an asexual and a functioning recluse this sounded like torture. I literally have very little knowledge on matters of the afterlife. The minute I learned about it I just stopped.

A lot of Muslims are not 'true' Muslims at all. But they pretend they are the only true and pious people on this earth. Quran and Sunnah is the best example to follow. A lot of things are clarified in there.

I would not follow the Sunnah at all. I should mention I was a Qur'anist for a few months until I wrapped up my sajjada and called it quits
