OP some of the things you post remind me of me. I'm older now, almost 40, and many of my kookier affectations have diminished a great deal. Some just because, and others due to much effort on my part to appear more normal. Age make things easier I think. Don't worry so much and concentrate on how you feel in the now. I did spend a couple weeks in a psych ward on a police hold. It sucked so much I promised myself that I would try to color in the lines more often so as not to wake the sleepers around me. I used to envy them but now I'm more like them and kind of miss myself. Grass is greener...
