No, Jesus never said "believe or burn," because that wouldn't have gone over well. Instead, we get how "merciful" it is that he saves anyone from hell, and how "just" a god that would sentence us to eternal punishment for finite crimes is.
You are a follower of a religion that completely inverts the meaning of moral terms in order to fit them to a god that doesn't deserve them. The bible is basically a handbook for doublethink.
I respectfully disagree. Have you ever read the Bible from beginning to end? Or perhaps, like most on this forum, just jumped around to atheist sites that pick and choose a handful of Scriptures out of context and twist them into a pretzel? Not buying your scrutiny of something you never really studied.

But we are all telling you that your method here is failing spectacularly. This isn't just my opinion. Read over the posts in the two threads you have started. You are not being successful at all.
So if your mission is to help us, (a notion which is at the same time presumptuous and condescending) then you need a change of tack. You are telling us things we have all heard a thousand times before, and we are just swatting you away like an annoying gnat. If you wish to be taken seriously, (and I do admit that I am making an assumption here) you need to come up with something more substantial than one-liners and personal experiences. These are not compelling at all.
If I can compel even one person on this site to Christ I would be overwhelmed with joy.
In an interesting comparison, whenever I've seen an atheist actively try to deconvert someone on a religious site - not just debate, but actively try to deconvert people - they have almost universally been banned.
Another comparison is many of the religious videos on YouTube. They almost immediately turn off comments and ratings, whereas atheist videos do not.
