What I find particularly interesting is that you can find LOTS of places in the Bible where "God" kills (mostly innocent) people. But you can't find ANYWHERE in the Bible where "Satan" kills anyone! Seems pretty incongruous to me. A "loving and just" being kills people like a bloodthirsty tyrant, but the most evil being in creation doesn't kill anyone!
I'd say Satan is getting a bad rap! And if I'm looking for a being to worship, I wouldn't want to worship one that has a history of acting like a homicidal maniac.
