When I was a Christian I used to try and 'Save' people but now Its got me thinking, Who was I saving people from?
The same God who supposedly loved his people so much he sent his son to die for them - Because if that's the case then that makes no sense what so ever.
So God is willing to have his son die for people but because the Clergy have fucked up his true word beyond belief he would punish people for thinking its a bunch of bull shit?
Is that really true of God?
Obviously - there is a need to be saved - FROM RELIGIONS.
However - 1600 years ago - the average person could not read the bible - because they could not read at all. Religion was basically the way the elite controlled the masses of people. And that they made up stories is proven by the ones in the bible - and others. Clergy could simply bypass or explain away passages that make no sense. And today -the clergy pretty much washes its hands of the Old Testament and its brutality.
When EDUCATION became available to the masses - indoctrination became much harder because education teaches people to question statements. And to question the "answers" too. So - for example - the need to be "saved" by a messiah - which was to be a political event for the Jews of the Old Testament - turned into "original sin of Eve" for which ALL humans are responsible - Unless of course you are smart enough to understand that the Genesis Story of Adam and EVE - is a fairy tale (Kindergarten level is probably enough). So then - if a "god" came to earth - wouldn't it know that story to be a fake? Explain 1 Timothy 2 in that regard. (Women are second rate because it was eve that sinned)
So - if YOU want answers about a god - don't ask religion - since they have no more provable knowledge about one than they have about growing weed.
