I doubt she'll win. I think she's just butthurt that they filed a lawsuit against her for killing their son. Why isn't she in jail? It looks to me like she was drink driving, as her police officer hubby made a point of not breathalising her at the scene, something which he would have known is important after an accident, and she may have been on her phone? I bet she hasn't even lost her driving licence.
What is this "emotional stress" she's feeling? The article says she's been suffering from PTSD, depression and anxiety and shit, but over what? It's clearly not guilt, if she's suing the victims' families. Is it because she was nearly hurt? Or because the boys dented her car when she hit them? Boo fucking hoo. A decent human being would also be stressed, anxious, and depressed, but they wouldn't be suing the families, they'd be grovelling to them for forgiveness, even if there was nothing they could have done to prevent the accident, because that's how good people react to accidentally harming others.
