Well the pressure is coming from the evidence and the fact that the theory of evolution better describes and explains it. Creation isn't an alternative theory of science. It may seem that way from the number of batshit-crazy xtian missionaries who sign on to bring the gospel to science. But all that amounts to is an exercise in xtian apologetics. If you sign up to do science but then spend your time trying to line up evidence to argue for a fundamentalist reading of the bible, you are not being honest and you're not doing science.
God it must suck to be you. May your delusions compensate you for the loss of respect you will always encounter in any legitimate field of inquiry.
