That is not entirely true. I had a dog that was dying from cancer, we took him to the vet regularly but they thought it simply pain from arithitis ( He was a big dog and getting old). He was never treated mean and was always loved and taken good care of.

Alright. I suppose if the animal is losing it's friggin mind there may be another cause, but I'd wager against that possibility every time. Simply because of the odds.
