Domestic cats are considered by some researchers to be the single biggest threat to the long term survival of many other small species. By some estimates domestic cats kill as many as 4 billion birds every year. While I like cats, I have come to the conclusion that they are an invasive species and a detriment to any natural environment in which they are introduced.

Keep your cats inside if you give shit about wild birds, small mammals and reptiles.
