Is it thus not morally reprehensible to tell a young child about Jésus lest they come to a decision contrary to that which the person telling them holds?
There's actually a rather famous little tale along those lines, which I'm afraid my memory isn't equal to the task of finding (so if anyone wants to dig it up, please do). As I recall, it concerns a missionary trying to convert a heathen tribesman of some sort by telling him about hell. The tribesman asks something like “is that what happens to people who reject Jesus“ and on being told yes, replies “so why tell me?“
Something like that anyway.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
