You have to admit, it was a pretty lame joke. I'm assuming that the intended meaning behind saying god bless you in response to a sneeze is a wish that someone will get better soon. If you give a crap about the sneezer, just say "I hope you feel better." or "Are you sick?" How the fuck "Nothing happens when you die." is funny, I don't know. It would be, if the intention of saying god bless you in response to a sneeze was to convey that the person was going to heaven or hell when they die. It's not, so, Dane Cook, you fail. /rant
