Then you're really not trying to understand the world in which you live, and I'm sorry you're not interested. It seems like compelling evidence... until you start researching how it is that ideas evolve and spread from culture to culture, especially the idea of Gods.

I understand what you're saying, that concepts do change as culture evolves, but the one dominant fact is that people have always believed in a god since the beginning of recorded history. They may have different concepts of him, but they did believe in a supernatural god - even as the understanding of our natural world expanded.

Why don't you look at it from a more reasonable perspective? Ancient people used to believe in gods and goddesses because they just didn't know any better. They didn't have access to the level of education we have now.
