The only evidence for their being a God should be your personal experience with Him.
You lacking faith is evidence for God.
Are you serious right now?
Oh, I see you are serious.
Seriously?
Is my lack of belief in Chtulhu evidence for Chtulhu too? Can you honestly say that the 40,000 denominations of Christianity all have personal experiences with the same god as you? Or is it more likely that a bunch of people ascribe their own natures to that of their imaginary friend god because its better than spending a time coming to terms with their mortality? Human history and human nature tells me all I need to know about god and the reasons humans lean on a god. Show me why I should believe in (your) god when I can tangibly see an MRI of your brain and a Buddhist monks brain during meditation and the brain reacts the same way. Are you saying you and the Buddhist are both experiencing the same god?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
