The only evidence for their being a God should be your personal experience with Him.
You lacking faith is evidence for God.
Are you serious right now?
Oh, I see you are serious.
Seriously?
Is my lack of belief in Chtulhu evidence for Chtulhu too? Can you honestly say that the 40,000 denominations of Christianity all have personal experiences with the same god as you? Or is it more likely that a bunch of people ascribe their own natures to that of their imaginary friend god because its better than spending a time coming to terms with their mortality? Human history and human nature tells me all I need to know about god and the reasons humans lean on a god. Show me why I should believe in (your) god when I can tangibly see an MRI of your brain and a Buddhist monks brain during meditation and the brain reacts the same way. Are you saying you and the Buddhist are both experiencing the same god?
Putting on my Christian hat, I think he might be coming from a presuppotional standpoint, where all thought and logic is contingent upon God's existence, so any sort of thought or discussion is 'evidence' that God exists, since you're able to have those thoughts in the first place. I've heard various presupps even state "the fact that you doubt proves his existence".
