Thanks for the replies everyone. Keep them coming if you wish to do so. I rarely get to enjoy discussing a pondering like this with other people. I simply do not have anyone local to me who enjoys these types of discussion. Means a lot. Thanks. Jenny A, very good point, yes, we are a very small portion of it. I suppose thinking of the bigger picture of the entire scale of the universe, we're still an infinitesimally small portion of it, so I suppose indeed I did not realize the logical fallacy I was committing. I appreciate everyone who has chimed in and corrected me there. As they say, ideas and thoughts are like a hat that you can wear and entertain, but it doesn't mean you have to adopt them. Hence bothering to make the thread and discuss it.
