Well... to be honest. They are very personal. I expect God to help me in all the small things. Which He does. And that can be explained away all day! But, some of the big miracles were things very close to my heart. And were life and death matters. And not just one, or 2. Several. And not explainable any other way.
But, I'm not thick skinned enough when it comes to my loved ones' life. I don't think anyone is.
You see, when miracles happen... friends and family find out, and ask for prayers. And the miracles keep happening!
The only thing we(my family) ask someone who asks for a miracle to do is "believe". Because w/o Faith.... it aint happening.
My wife and I were recently trying to think of one instance that God [didn't] answer our prayers in some way. And we though of only one. And it was someone who rejected them.
Its a really good thing that you believe in the "right" god. Those poor idiots who believe in the "wrong" god have all the bad shit happen to them. And just think of those poor saps who believe in no god at all... they have to actually use their brains to navigate through life. Good thing your god, the "right" god shut your brain down so you just couldn't look at the REAL reasons why things happen. He's sooo gracious like that isn't HE.

Generally speaking, most of us don't. But we do point out that you have no evidence in favor of god, let alone your specific flavor of god; that's entirely consistent with a position that accepts possibilities without accepting things as true without evidence.

It doesn't follow that he gets to make the rules just because he is god. I don't know about you,but I live in a democracy, and more importantly, I live in a society where authority is earned and can be taken away if it is misused. Why should god get an exemption?

If you have more of the picture you should be able to demonstrate it, rather than just asserting your own lofty superiority.

Poor people don't want his help? Children starving to death in Africa don't want God's help? Victims of earthquakes and other natural disasters don't want God's help? People with cancer don't wish God could relieve them of that suffering?
God hates people who are stupid enough to be born into a helpless circumstance or accidentally get caught in natural disasters. That's their fault not god's.
