I came to KS for a graduation a few years back and felt like a fish in water. So I went home, packed, and moved to where I could breathe. Its a sore spot, truly. Allll my family lives there. I feel like an exhile. They don't understand why I can't just wear oxygen and live there-- which I did try for years. Didn't help, I'm too active to be held down by tubes.
That I can understand. Beautiful places are one thing. Being able to breath well enough to enjoy them is far more important.
