Be polite at first but if they don't take "not interested" for an answer or they deliberately stand in your way - which HAS happened to me - get in their face.

Confrontation leads to violence. Are you prepared to kill or be killed over such an issue? Remember, half of the population is crazy. You can always say that you worship a deity in another galaxy and that you have to hurry home to do a video conference with it.

One once stopped me on a street corner and stepped in front of me when I tried to step around him after telling him I wasn't interested. The final time he also put his hand on me to stop me.

That's when I will get in their face about it.

I'm intolerant like that.
