I think that a kid who refuses to eat the cereal would disagree Losty. There are some pretty epic hunger strike stories in my family that center around that particular tactic.
(I'll beat my kids senseless to stop them from endangering themselves or others, unapologetically. I've been down this road on the boards before. Chances are, if we hashed it out you wouldn't judge or disagree with -my- use of force. Others use it differently. Again, just putting out the dissenting opinion in search of better conversation. These threads always end up looking like a bunch of rubes banging their heads against a pew together)
