As for the wage gap, it will pretty much depend where you live. The problem that makes some people hate feminists is that they claim discrimination just because on average men make more than women. Why is this fallacious? Very simple, it is not discrimination if a gender earns more, as long as it is earned trough a higher rank job, it is only discrimination if the same jobs earns both different salaries. I could as well argue that black people where I live earn less, the same goes for immigrants, is that really discrimination? I don't think so, one thing I've learned with my dad (he was a CEO in a small company, his own) is that if you're good to have a high ranking job no one will care about your gender or race if you're the best they can find, and it's true.
