Yep, I agree with everything except the pay gap part.

So it isn't a myth? Have you been paid less than a man for the same job?

Wage gap exists. I don't think it's nearly as bad in the US as some would have us believe, but it is real. I don't know how real. It's hard to find information that isn't biased.


Also, I must say that while the rape, beating, and murder if women (not only Muslim women) around the world is a much bigger issue than slut shaming, we don't really have that problem so much in the US. So when it comes standing up and speaking out within my own country, maybe the slut shaming problem actually is more important.
