That would appear to be wrong based on demographics alone Polaris. Take your atheists in one hand - and all your hindus and christians and muslims and, well....you probably get the point already. From that pov, it's kind of unsurprising that atrocities have been committed by the faithful, or in the name of the faith. There are alot of you - and have been...for quite some time.

Before the 20th century, the religious had killed more people (as much as 20 million over the course of ten thousand years). The 20th century saw that more than equaled by the actions of non-believers.

The vast majority of the German population in the 1940s was Christian. Not only did they staff the death camps and the crematoria, they turned their heads away and acquiesced even when they weren't directly involved, pretending they didn't smell the smells, or see the 40x8s roll out of town loaded with Jews, or didn't see the invoices for tons of Zyklon-B.

So much for religion giving us morality, eh?

Non muslims demolished two cities from the face of earth using atomic weapons, and waged two world wars that crippled the whole world.

Any weapon of mass destruction nowadays was invented by non muslims, every chemical weapon was invented and used by non muslims.
