Women are slut shamed more in most cultures because women are not supposed to be sexual creatures. Women are not supposed to have sexual thoughts and desires. A woman can be slut shamed even if she's only had 1 partner. Young girls who develope early can be slut shamed even though they're virgins. Many religious women are slut shamed even within the confines of their own marriages. Because they're meant to please their husbands, but not actually enjoy sex.
I'm not saying this stuff is overly common everywhere, but it is certainly real. And it has nothing to do with who can find a sex partner easier.
I was talking about social circles in developed countries, I see the reason I quoted as being the psychological reason why slut shaming happens, even though I'm not really talking about slut shaming here but more likely social prejudice. I completely agree on the rest but that's more predominant in third world countries or theocracies. The example is Islam. Those damn arabs
