Years ago, I dropped my wallet in west Belfast, had a little over 200 quid in it. A week later, I was near done replacing the necessaries (cash card, driving license, union cards, etc) when I got a call from the peelers that someone found the wallet and handed it in.
In addition to the cash (which was all there), there was a little handwritten card saying, 'I wanted you to avoid any loss. May God bless and keep you.' The police told me that the woman who turned in my wallet refused to leave her name or any contact information, specifically said she didn't want me to try and offer her a reward.
Good people are good people, irrespective of their religious beliefs.
