Well, when someone asks whether or not it's natural - if you strip away your bias on the subject you might notice that "natural rape" - what exists, inarguably in nature - and the rape the question is being asked about aren't really in the same box. It's a non-question, and thusly can't be answered adequately. No amount of referring to the one is going to give us insight on the other with the amount of unspoken assumptions likely to have been made.
And about those dolphins....I'm not so eager to paint them with a human brush. I'll withhold judgement on the level of malice present in Flippers heart so long as I don't require malice to explain a behavior.
