Quote:First of all, which society are you referring to that has equality for women? In my country I haven't seen a lot of discrimination against women, but it depends on the location and education of people, even in the Netherlands or Sweden there might be discrimination, it's just less likely. There are States where discrimination is less prevalent, it doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all, it can happen in more rural areas and not industrial cities, but if you're talking about any minimal kind of discrimination, that's never going to disappear
If you can't name one, then you must admit there is a need for feminism because you said there is no need for feminism if such a society exists.
Quote:As for the rape opinion, twice you said 'merely'. Do you realise that?So what? Do you expect me to be sorry for what I said? Rape is a problem and occurs against women and men, it's a social problem and it is promoted by some societies, punishing offenders solely won't help, loot at India
'The guy just merely forced his dick into the screaming girl's vagina which is merely what happens in nature', is how a person who's been raped might hear it.
Quote:Promiscuous sex. Your opinion is well noted by now. I was trying to say that that particular opinion degrades women, especially since it is shared by so many. There is only a reason for this even if most society doesn't acknowledge it, a woman can have sex with any man she wants as long as she is at least a 5/10, while a man must work for it and it takes skills to bang every girl around the block. This is why society, both women and men see situations differently. It is different doing something ordinary and extraordinary. I've met females who could bang every guy they wanted by simply going over them and saying 'let's have sex', while most males I knew who banged a lot of women needed to seduce and work at least for an hour or half an hour, it goes a big difference from both accomplishments , not that I fucking care about it anyway, I just don't have a personal preference for women who bang lots of guys (or girls).
My opinion is that when a woman is called a slut, she is treated like meat that has lost value. A man, on the other hand is often praised for his pickup skills. He certainly almost never loses value or gets treated like merchandise.
Quote:I feel that you would benefit from doing some research.Done my research, but I could always do more.
Quote:I don't think you intentionally mean to be sexist, at least I didn't when I was sexist and used to say the same crap.I'm not sexist, I actually fight for women having equality.
Quote:I also think that just because women experience different levels of inequality in different countries, we should still fight inequality on all fronts.Agree with this
Late edit: Any women or men can have sex with everyone, but you can't impose society to view them equally, it's not going to change. Sure no one will stop people from having sex, but that doesn't mean other people will approve it or want to date people who've done it. When seducing a man is as hard as seducing a woman I'll promise society won't care for slut labels
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you
