As for gays marrying, someone will have to explain to me why they would want the same 'rights' as heterosexuals regarding marriage, because they can currently enjoy all of the benefits without succumbing to the marriage/divorce legal system. The Family Law court is a joke, and I'm honestly saddened that now there will be same sex divorces. Divorce sucks!
Well, the only way to get even close to the same benefits is through multiple legal maneuvers vs one contract and some rights are exclusive to marriage.
