I didn't. I 'borrowed' them from a list used in a study in 2011, this is much shorter than the original list. But my post has nothing to do with that or any other study, it was just curiosity on my part that drove this poll.
Plus I thought it might be interesting for other AF user to see what the AF agnostics/atheists think about this sort of issue.
There certainly seems to be a lot of irrational thinking used in society in general, luck, wishing, superstitions etc. I wonder how much is recognised and weeded out.
I don't think anyone can honestly say they have no irrational thoughts, that is not to say we externalise those thoughts, rather we actively work to correct irrational thoughts before communication.
I personally consider it an active process.

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)
