If they could not win me with their 'evidence' the name calling started.That's just confirmation bias-- we tend to seek out and more readily accept information that supports what we already believe, and we are likely to avoid or more readily reject information that contradicts what we believe. And pretty much by definition, it means that we're pretty sure it's something that everyone else but we are afflicted with.
