But I do know that a paycheck doesn't depend on social fairness. It depends on work, and only when governments or companies collude to repress salaries or prevent workers from having a choice or a voice does the unfairness of the "system" come into play. Wealth has to be produced before it can be "shared."
Quote:The reason I said is because our corporate America's welfare state which depends on lower wages for all, is affecting minorities at a greater rate. If whites want to not make it about race then they should understand that their own fears and economic instability is what corporate america uses to pit blacks against whites.
Blacks still make less than whites, drop outs, HS diplomas or college, blacks still make less. Blacks still get punished more harshly for the same crimes of whites, which are committed at the same ratio as whites, but have a much higher incarceration rate for the same crimes.
You are merely restating my question, not answering it. Yes, we know there is an income disparity, but WHY is there an income disparity?
What is the mechanism. If you have personal knowledge of a black man that is not making as much money as a white peer despite performing an equal job, then tell us why that is happening.
If you know why blacks are disproportionately represented in the ghettos, then tell us who sends them there and who forces them to stay there.
If you know why blacks drop out of high school at a greater rate than whites, please tell us.
