As a person that has worked in a bar and lives next door to a very alcoholic, very Pentecostal neighbor (has the New Testament memorized), I have experienced this shit all the time. Let me start by saying if a stranger is bothering you that much, the staff are doing a poor job. You should tell the bartender, doorman, bar back, whomever. Especially if you are a regular. It's better to kick out a drunk that is annoying people than lose a good paying regular customer. This person is probably annoying other people too.
If that doesn't work then pick out some details (sports clothing, band clothing, maybe a piece of jewelry ) and change the subject to HIS/HER interest. Manipulating drunk people is not hard at all. You can always deflect to a third person (preferably a stranger) to make him/her lose interest in you: "Look at third person's so and so." My favorite is to indulge, all the while, plying them with more drink: "Here ya go friendo. How bout some shots?!" That's usually enough for them to make such an ass out of themselves (tripping, falling, passing out etc), the staff have no choice but to kick them.
