You are insane, man. Black pudding is delicious! Especially lightly grilled or fried. You don't know you've lived until you've tried it!
Also: anyone else wondering what "wft" means?
black pudding... the names you brits come up to try to get people to eat things...
In Portugal, we call that by it's proper description, black chouriço, or even blood chouriço (depending on who you ask). So much more appropriate and ... remarkably... people still eat it!
Then again, we have a special stew which is chicken boiled in its own blood with rice(they call it Arroz de cabidela)... I'm not very fond of it, but sometimes I just can't avoid it. My biggest problem with it, to be honest, is that stupid cooks just chop the bird's bones, cracking them and mixing those tiny cracks in with the rice, making it impossible to visually distinguish bone from rice, until your teeth sink into a piece of bone, or you dig a splinter of bone into your gum. Anything where poultry is mixed in with rice deserves a lot of care in preparation and most cooks just don't care.

Back On topic, could this be yet another public scare tactic to impose even more public security measures which will limit everyone's freedom? yes, I'm afraid it can... will it succeed? Yes, I'm afraid it will.
It was just one more nail in the coffin of my conviction never to go to any muslim-majority country, no matter what is offered as a reward.
And now the million dollar opinion: I'd probably accept the nuclear bombing of these people, as a way to eradicate this cancer once and for all. Inevitably, many innocents would die, but it would show future wannabe religious extremists that the powers that be will not stand by idly while they impose their backwards and stupid religion and ideologies on the world.
Would that sprout other similar cancers? I don't know... maybe...
