Our positions on global warming are many and varied.
Why would you expect us to? Atheism is a lack of belief in god(s). Nothing more, nothing less. Sure, many atheists (myself included) look to science to give us actual answers to our questions instead of the bullshit answers provided by religion, but it is by no means required or universal.
Personally, I have seen the evidence of global warming and find the explanations satisfactory to support the claim. I see a need to drastically curb and eliminate, if possible, the release of ancient carbon into the atmosphere. It's the single source of my dissatisfaction with my current employment. The company is awesome, the bosses are awesome, the co-workers are awesom, hell, even the office location is awesome. But, I'm stuck helping oil and gas companies frack the planet. This is why I'm returning to school, starting over completely, to move into a new industry.
Not all will agree with me. Hopefully enough will realize what's happening before it's truly too late to leave a living legacy behind us. It would be truly sad if human-kind's greatest legacy is it's own extinction but that's where we're headed if it doesn't stop.
