- I agree we are doing some harm, but we still have to except what climate we are given get from the earth, if we weren't here, I still believe that the climate will still change
This is true to a very small some extent.
That it would change anyway is not a perfectly valid reason to not do anything.
There are an estimated 4.2 million pet dogs in Australia, removing all of them would be the same, ecologically speaking, as removing 8.4 million 4WD's (or even more smaller cars). As the population of Australia is 23.5 million, so you can see that just by killing all pet dogs and replacing them with 4WD's the world would be a much better place.
That's not 100% true. Milk is very nutrient-dense and helps balance diets that are high in grain which is very cheap nutrient-poor food. If we had no dairy we'd need to lessen our dependence on grain, or consume more meat to get our dietary requirements.
Wow. You would see an avoidable mass extinction just because you can't be bothered to make any changes to your life style.
You seemed to have jumped on the "climate will change anyway" part of my post and missed out the part where we are the drivers of cataclysmic change because of the gross miss use of the planet.
If we were to try and purposely fuck the planet up we would be doing exactly the same as we are doing now.
Dogs and cows are an accessory to our human lifestyles, not mine personally because I don't have a pet or eat beef. Many of the dog breeds and cow breeds exist specifically for human needs.
It's more realistic to kill cows and dogs than to tell people they can't drive vehicles anymore.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
