Those claims are not rooted in science and he knows it. Do not let your empathy or sense of fair play cloud your reasoning.
WE CAN AND SHOULD DISMISS IT. Just like we no longer use horses and have cars. Just like we no longer use rotary phones. Just like you grow up and no longer believe in SANTA.
There is nothing wrong in giving up on bad claims. Not only is it ok, it is required to clear the way to the future.
If froodo had on lick of credible universal evidence it would be useful like his car and his computer. He merely has a fantasy.
