So what happens if you don't resign?

I resigned from my church (the salvation army), demanding I be struck from their records, which they did. I was just that antagonistic against them at the time. I'm over it now/ I don't hate them any longer. My wife and kids are still in it, and I help them (my now local corp) out now and then. Can't quite stomach a service tho', and I now align myself with their beliefs.
