Real or full of crap? I read that he was really a Jesus freak, but I'm being he's just messing around.

That clip is obviously a joke and there is no good reason to think that he believes anything other than what he says.

On a side note I don't find him to be funny at all. He's a whiny, braying pseudo-intellectual with a poor understand of most of the things that he talks about. I can never forget cringing at an interview with Mike Huckabee where Bill Maher described evolution as being 'about the monkeys and stuff'

I'm probably in the minority on these forums but I thought that Religioulous was a poorly done movie that looked and felt extremely amateurish and poorly researched. I also find him to be poorly rehearsed, he reads most of the jokes on his show like it's his first time going over them, like he was too lazy to rehearse anything and had nothing to do with the writing process.

Also I don't think he's funny.
