The concept of never having a religion has always been a foreign idea to me as I have always had that part of my past. I feel a bit of a loss, I no longer have reassurance, nor will there be any divine justice that befalls the corrupt, the gathering of people to venerate a god spending their valuable time to reflect on him is something that while it was misused I miss the general idea of it and the feeling of unity. Mostly though I miss the recitation. Yes religion is a culture, a system, that bore deep inside of me and brought good with its bad. Now yes, I have purged myself of what was bad, but I also seek to regain what was good.
