He didn't hang around because it wasn't his intention in the first place. As much as I don't necessarily like the way they went about it (or their reasons for it), those who got protective were right for doing so.
No but if your looking for a collaboration then yoiu may want to know what kind of people your ad will be attracting. After all you can't lump all atheist forums together. For example we don't have the Pentecostal choir of kings chosen like I heard of from ttaf, and we certainly not Atheist+. But how the fuck would he know that if he didn't hang around a bit?
