Actually, 100 is average, so 108 is above average. Also, you have to remember that 50% of people are below average. From the thread title I thought you were going to say it was 80 or something.

Ultimately, effort matters for more than raw talent.

I'll also note that performance on IQ tests can vary if you're impaired by depression, etc.
