- Wow - therapy and medication recommendations? That sounds horribly irresponsible and creepy unless it was done by a psychiatrist who has experience treating you, and you are properly diagnosed with an actual disorder which would warrant such an intervention. So this was not a standard test which this college requires to take everyone, no?
This was a private psychology testing department covered by our insurance . They didn't recommend specific medication, they just said that it might benefit to get some for attention and anxiety. They recommended a couple types of therapy (I'm at school and not in from of the report so I dunno what they were). I do think they professionally measure diagnosis. I say measure because they give a probability percentage rather than a diagnosis. It was 75% for adhd and 80% for level one autism spectrum disorder.
