Other faiths have humans serving God, but Christianity has God serving humans. We are made in his image. Emulation lifts us up. Christianity is one evolutionary step ahead of every other faith for this reason.
That's not saying that all religious endeavour isn't an expression of the same thing. It is. There's something valuable in all of them. Including atheist beliefs.
I'm interested in them all. I'm also convinced of my own beliefs. I came to them rationally, and so can do no other, but to follow my best understanding.
First off, Christianity is not unique in bridging a gap between god and man. That is stupid on so many levels. God does not serve mankind in christianity, citation needed! Sending his son to kill himself for forgiveness of his own demands is not serving mankind. Forgiveness is not servitude anyway.

Ignoring archeology that says the bible story didn't happen, (exodus, etc)
ignoring geology that says the bible story didn't happen. (Flood, etc)
ignoring genetics that says the bible story didn't happen, (DNA Trail)
ignoring biology that says the bible story didn't happen, (evolution)
ignoring physics that says the bible story didn't happen, (sun stopped for hr)
ignoring astronomy that says the bible story didn't happen, (star of Bethleham)
Ignoring Paleobiology that says the bible story didn't happen, (dino's)
Ignoring modern medicine that says the bible stories didn't happen, (medical miracles)
Ignoring logic that says the bible story didn't happen, (biblical contradictions)
Ignoring common sense that you can't see or hear god in the same way that other's in the bible story can, does NOT mean that you came to the decision "RATIONALLY" to become a christian. It means you have your head in the sand and your fingers in your ears and you love self-delusion.
