Some men I've encountered considered themselves straight regardless of what we did together. (Yes, Donnie R. I'm posting about you)
Donnie was sexually bisexual, but I'd guess he was emotionally heterosexual almost exclusively, and to him that is what mattered. No idea at all if his wife ever caught on or cared. If he turned up on my doorstep, I wouldn't turn him away, but I'd go into knowing he isn't available for a long term relationship.
There are men out there with all kinds of variations in their sexual wiring and emotional, and intellectual wiring. It is preferable if they can be honest about things, but these shades of inflection in sexuality are hard to fathom.
Some men are incapable of an emotional relationship with anyone, but most of them still like to boink.
Hell, I don't think the thread starter is any more or less screwed up than most anyone else.
