Why bother to have a discussion at all if the facts don't matter to you? If you believe in things not only in the absence of facts but despite the facts than you will never hear anything of value because you have closed your ears, eyes, and mind. And certainly your beliefs won't convince anyone else.
You have a rational mind, yet you refuse to use it. You believe god created man in his image and made us different from the animals? You believe he gave you a great big glorious rational brain? I would think refusing to use such a gift would be a sin.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
