This country has a long history of fighting for equal rights. Blacks, women, other ethnic minorities, interracial couples, ect. Homosexuals are just the latest in a line. They will soon be free to do as they want, and we'll move on to the next group as needed. It's no different than when they gave blacks and women the right to vote. There's nothing special about it. fighting for the rights of minorities is just what Americans do, ever since people started saying we shouldn't have to pay taxes without representation in the British government.
