2006, 2008 and 2012 should be indications that enough Americans got wise to stop the GOP. The only reason they held onto Congress is because of massive Gerrymandering. They lost the popular vote, measured in total votes cast for GOP candidates vs. Democrat candidates. This should be especially impressive given how the Democrat leaders have done everything in their power to repeatedly bitch-slap and demoralize liberals in America or otherwise throw the election to the GOP. The only reason 2010 happened was because of Obama's piss poor leadership. So yeah, I think it's fair to say there is a sane part of America. I'm not discounting the batshit part, they're still a solid 40% of the likely voters.
