Do christians not counter "bigot" with "sinner?"
Do christians not boycott or break boycotts?
Do christians not have the courage to "get in the face" of those demanding rights?
They certainly do these, and yet unfortunately for you, the real reason the conversation gets "stifled" with the accusation of bigotry is because the bigotry is obvious to even many "christains" and the fight to hate because the bible tells you so has left a sour taste in their mouths.
Calling gays, disgusting, sinners, hellbound , etc is a despicable tactic too....for the same reason....it stifles the discussion.
Glad you feel that way, but still does not change the source of where they justify their despicable views.
I was just today getting into it with Muslim women who like you try to equate my tactics to being on par with real bigots and real oppressors.
"misinterpret" is the common dodge liberal theists use to ignore the fact that "misinterpret" is an admission that the holy book is being used. If the words were not there to "misinterpret" then Iran would not have words at all to justify executing a rape victim.
My point to you about our right wing gay haters is the same point I make to Muslim liberals who cope out to "misinterpret" when it comes to the Koran.
FINE, don't argue with me, argue with them. I am not the one justifying hate or cruelty or oppression. They are. Get angry at the right people, not the people standing up to them.
